Man i used to tell my freinds playing wow, that i would at anytime rather play gw. Less grind (max lvl 20), it's all about having fun, all casual players can get cool stuff(armor,weapons). But damn this changes alot. U now NEED! to grind if u wan't to go to uw or fow. This game seams to becomming just as grindy as wow.

Two things.

First, I don't consider this encouraging grind. People are going to go for titles on their own, and "Oh look, it helps get favor!" Most titles are fun to get regardless so I don't see too much a problem here.

Second, Eye of the North is going to bring new titles. I think until Eye of the North comes out, we don't really know how this system is going to turn out.

...or you just sit back and let the other many hundreds of thousands of players figure out how to get 20 max titles between them.

It's only grindy if you are trying to do it all yourself, and anyone who considers this grind is not quite understanding what is going on here.

You are relying on the actions of hundreds of thousands of players - not just yourself.

Everyone who is stressing over this just needs to calm down and sit back with a drink that has a little umbrella in it and watch other people go for achievements.

i was wondering if anyone is crazy enough to try to do "combos", planning to max 2+ title in few minutes

ex:

XYZ has achieved the title Holy Lightbringer
XYZ has achieved the title Legendary Sparmarshall

i know sooner or later sum1 will do something like this, wonder how crazy this will end up to. God imagine someone maxing Saviour of the Kurzick and the Luxon in a row. that would be tremendously sick

The best part of the favor change is that victory tokens drop in UW instead of ectos thanks to the dragon festival. Awesome!

Are you really that blind? Can you not see that this system works?

How many people just say stuff without even checking.. it's like there is a default "complain" response to everything. Even when it's working.

I guess the gods are on crack, they're willing to give their favor to someone who afk's a lucky/unlucky title, or opens chests, or eats a bunch of candy canes, rather than actually winning something.

Soon there will be PvE'ers complainin why ecto prices are so low and now their fow armor isn't great anymore.

Way to promote grinding, GG.

Speaking of ectos... how about we all give a hearty /bellylaugh to all the people that ran out yesterday and bought hundreds of ectos expecting prices to go through the roof! Give them a hand, folks!

This was actually nicely thought out and implemented. I wonder if Gaile has been in the shadows reading all the pre-complaining saying to herself "Give it a chance, noobs!"

I think people are just getting bored of the game, but refuse to admit it to themselves because of the huge amount of time they've invested into it. So instead they complain about anything and everything because they've ended up hating the game they can't stop playing.

By that time, passage scrolls will probably be a dime a dozen. If favor can be sustained for a few weeks like it was today, no one will have to use scrolls and supplies will skyrocket.

Prediction with GW:EN - they'll occasionally increase the title cap for the three factions.

Well it's one solution, anyways. It's also the only one I've got.
